Tyler had been trying to get me to go to the haunted corn maze for weeks now so I finally agreed to go last night.. before I continue though- let me take you on a detour. I may have a slight or should i say a rather large fear of the dark.. and dear 'ol Tyler thinks it is the funniest thing ever!! He'll tell me about the rather weird people that he sees outside and about our psycho neighbors and then make me take the dog out at night and such.. So anyway.. Tyler got this brilliant idea that we should go to the corn maze because he knew very well that i'd be completely freaked out! Now if any of you know Tyler you know that once he gets and idea in his head he doesnt give up until he gets what he wants... and trust me he isnt above guilting you into either!! I agreed to go to the corn maze with him under certain conditions but in the end it didnt really matter anyway (back to that whole guilt thing but we wont go there)...
I did come up with a brilliant plan as we were driving though that I was going to take pictures so that I would actually want to see these "creatures"... and it worked!! Sort of- I still got spooked but I think I played it off rather well. The only person I didnt fool was Tyler because his poor hand was just about feeling-free by the time we were done. About half way through the maze I had to pee!! Perfect timing... lost in a corn maze at night with things jumping out at you! I started asking for directions on how to get out which didnt exactly make Tyler happy but I was to the point where I was heavily weighing the chances of getting caught if I dropped my drawers in the corn!!! No worries though.. we did make it out in time but word to the wise: Pee before you go somewhere scary!!

Our Wedding
Getting to know Tyler and I
Tyler and I were married on June 5, 2008. He is everything that I could have ever asked for in a companion. He is so much more than my husband... he is my best friend, my confidante, my snuggle buddy, the shoulder to cry on and my hero. I admire Tyler for so many reasons and I am so thankful that we found each other!!
Tyler is a volunteer firefighter, working full time, a member of the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity at Utah State University, and recently acquired his intermediate EMT. He always has a full plate but, if you ask him, there is always room for some fun!
I am attending class at the applied college, working part-time doing in-home hospice care as a CNA, learning the ropes of being a wife and home-maker, and struggling to improve my cooking techniques to keep up with my busy husbands metabolism.
We live in an apartment with our dog Pukah who can never get enough attention. Pukah was adopted from the animal shelter about 2 months before we were married. It honestly feels as though we already have a child... only this one plays fetch and jumps all over y0u.

About Me
- Makinley Scriver
- In July I am going to become a MOM! I need to find a way to work from home so that I can stay home with our beautiful new baby when she comes. I have started this business and I am hoping that I can do well enough not to have to go back to work. I thank all of you who are supporting me in this and hope that this works out!
